Effective July 1, 2008, we are pleased to
announce that four varied and successful companies will be doing business as
THE HARTLEY GROUP. They are: H & H Management and Maintenance, Prize
Properties, Hartley’s Executive Cleaning and Swift Chemicals and Supplies, LLC.
Bob Hartley is the founder and President of
these companies. He began a journey into the corporate world in 1975. Through
the past several years, Hartley’s philosophy has been to pursue greater
excellence in every aspect of life and business. He has always endeavored to
have top quality people as his associates while building long-term relationships
honoring God in every way.
Bob recently shared the following thoughts.
“God cares about the practical needs of the people. Our valued teammates and
marvelous comrades bring wonderful lives of integrity and rich deposits of
business experience as they build with customers, suppliers and all with whom
they come in contact. They look forward to serving others in a more beneficial
way.”
Bob Hartley (Founder and CEO of The
Hartley Group) Bob grew up in Kansas City and graduated from the
University of Central Missouri in 1982. At this same university, Hartley later
taught collegiate courses in business and speech and was awarded the Top Alumnus
of the year in 200 . Later, Hartley helped establish the Daniel Academy, a
Christian school – grades K-12.
Hartley served as the Greater Kansas City
Fellowship of Christian Athletes Area Director and a pastor for the Metro
Christian Fellowship Church. He and his wife Terry have four children. Hartley
also was instrumental in helping to establish the International House of Prayer.
Back in 1988, Bob and his wife Terry began a
ministry for youth and young adults called Deeper Waters, Inc. The goal
is to train youth to meet God in all arenas of life. Also, the non-profit
organization provides funds and assistance to those oppressed, especially in the
country of Zimbabwe, S. Africa.
Bob has become a frequent speaker throughout
America and the world carrying the vision of the Joseph Company equipping
people in the marketplace to discover God in all of their lives.
Juan Swart (General Manager of The
Hartley Group) Born in Zimbabwe, Juan (often referred to as John)
received B.A. degrees in both Building Arts and Architecture at the University
of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He married Beulah, a member of a 3rd
generation Mission focused family, 23 years ago.
Moving with their family of three boys in
1986, they settled in California, Juan enjoyed a successful 20 year career in
architecture and project management. In 2005, the Swart family moved to Kansas
City where Juan and Beulah became involved with the International House of
Prayer and the Deeper Waters ministry. Since January 2008, Swart has
served as General Manager in charge of all facets of The Hartley Group.
John Shore (Director of Quality
Control and Public Relations) John has been a life-long resident of
Kansas City. He has a B.A. Degree from Baker University and an M.S. degree from
New York University. Married to his wife Mary Lea since 1962, Shore spent most
of his adult life in the corporate world and the non-profit sector. He has been
the recipient of many honors and awards. John’s heart is to assist his long
time friend, Bob Hartley, The Hartley Group and Deeper Waters in various
capacities as needed seeking excellence in all that they do.
Tiffany Allen (Officer Manager and
Human Resource Director) Tiffany grew up in Wisconsin. There, her
university studies majored in psychology and law. Currently, she serves as a
member of the management team including Swift Chemicals and Supplies. T.A.
enjoys teaching scripture, leading worship, and ministry development.
Amy Pomplin (Deeper Waters
Administrator and Personal Assistant to the President)
“Amazing” Amy graduated from the University
of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a degree in Sports Management. As a part of The
Hartley Group since May, 2005, Amy spends most of her time assisting Bob Hartley
making plans for conferences, increasing the number of resource materials and
serving the organization in many ways.
Edward Lee (Investment Coordinator and
Project Manager) Eddie grew up in a suburb of New York City. There, he
worked on Wall Street on the floor of the American Stock Exchange and also as a
licensed realtor. Eddie assists Bob Hartley and the entire staff in various
capacities and has become a valued member of the team.
Amyann Hartley (Deeper Waters Ministry
Assistant) Amyann has faithfully served The Hartley Group since 2002 as
a part of the local as well as travelling ministry team. She also fills the
capacity as a ministry assistant and project manager. Recently graduating from
high school, Amyann will be attending school in Redding, California in the fall
of 2008.
Cheryl Jesudason (Hartley Group Financial Director) Cheryl
is our newest addition, who has joined us from Canberra, Australia. She first
connected with members of the Hartley Group three years ago through Joseph
Company events in Australia. Cheryl has come abroad to manage our financial
accounting and reporting systems. Previously, she worked in various departments
within a utilities organization in Canberra while studying Commerce at the
Australian National University. |
